A pilot project for the sale of alcohol using the Click&Collect system has been launched in Moscow and St. Petersburg
The united company Wildberries and Russ has launched a pilot project for the sale of alcohol using the Click&Collect model. Residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg can now book alcoholic beverages on the Wildberries marketplace and pick them up at the stores of their partner, the VinLab supermarket chain. To use the service, the customer needs to select an item, add it to the cart and specify the appropriate store for pickup on the map. At the same time, before placing an order, it is necessary to confirm the age over 18 years, and upon receipt of the purchase, present an identity document. At this stage, the project is working only in some areas of Moscow and St. Petersburg, but the company plans to expand its geography. This project can be another step towards the implementation of the remote sale of alcohol.
