AB InBev Efes transferred to temporary management

AB InBev Efes BV Brewing Company, by Presidential Decree No. 1131 dated 12/30/24, was temporarily managed by the Together Group of companies. This is stated in the decree published on the portal of legal information. As part of the decision, 15.8 billion ordinary shares and 92.9 thousand preferred shares were transferred.

GC “Together” is owned by Nikolai Tyurnikov and is engaged in software development and financial consulting. Despite a loss of 7.23 million rubles in 2023, the group has assets in other areas, including Pravokard, which provides consulting services and earns more than 1.6 billion rubles per year. Some market participants believe that this decision is related to the previously rejected request by Turkey’s Anadolu Efes to purchase a stake in Belgium’s AB InBev.

The transfer of the company may indicate a deterioration in relations between Russia and Turkish businesses. AB InBev Efes, the leader of the Russian beer market, was established in 2018 as a result of the merger of Belgian and Turkish structures.
