The gross harvest of grain crops decreased in the Kursk region

Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexey Smirnov said that as a result of the fighting, harvesting will not be completed on 160 thousand hectares, which will lead to a significant decrease in the gross grain harvest. It is expected that the total grain volume will decrease by 1.5 million tons and amount to about 4 million tons, which is significantly less compared to the results of 2023. In addition, it is predicted that the harvest of oilseeds will decrease by 500 thousand tons and sugar beet by 700 thousand tons.
